Poupak Fallahi is an Associate Professor of Medicine of the University of Pisa (Italy).
Her principal areas of expertise are autoimmune thyroid disorders, thyroid cancer, systemic
autoimmune disorders, type 1 diabetes, HCV-associated thyroid disorders, chemokines and
cytokines, the effects of COVID-19 infection in patients with systemic rheumatic diseases.
She has participated in many clinical trials and she has performed in vitro studies with primary cell
cultures.
Her researches have been published in more than 330 articles on International Journals (HI=73). She
serves as an Editorial Board Member, and she is Referee and Reviewer of many scientific
International Journals.
